San Diego's legendary blues-rock trio was founded by guitarist / frontman Richard Blitz (Livoni) in the early 1970s, and is still going strong after 4 decades. The San Diego Music Awards have just bestowed their highest honor on Richard and band with The 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award. Rounding out the trio are Barney Roach on bass, and Calvin Lakin on drums. The 'BLITZ Sound' has always stayed true to the band's love of the heavier side of blues music, with live concerts consisting of a dynamically paced show of original songs, blended with uniquely executed classic standards.
